I am legitimately missing one out of every pair of socks I own and I'm not sure how this happened.

Has anyone seen my missing socks?

I'm not really sure... I usually put them on when half asleep, so I only just noticed the problem.

maybe you should wear a camera to see if you put them somewhere weird in your sleep.

Do you take them off when half asleep as well? If so, the cleaning bots may have mistaken them for trash and scooped them up.

I suppose we’ll have to check the bots. And wherever it is they empty themselves once they’ve cleaned their fill.

I checked my studio, but I did not see any socks, Akutagawa sir. I do hope you find what you are missing. Perhaps they are in your office or other areas you frequent.

Perhaps you just need to embrace the trend of mismatched socks at all times. Therefore, when you inevitably lose another one, it's fine becase they didn't have a pair in the first place.

I read this book where all the missing socks went into like this whole other dimension!
